Components

Single Color Headlight Components

  1. All of the parts you see here are included in your purchase of this headlight.
  2. Single Color semi-sealed Headlight has 39 type 3528 SMD LED’s
  3. Not like the original Sealed Beams where you throw away the whole headlight.  Our headlight features a interchangeable bulb assembly, so when the bulb goes out you just replace the bulb.  Replace it with a Halogen or Xenon Bulb H4 type that can be purchased from any auto parts store.  Even though the bulb looks blue the headlight shows as ultra white color, no blue at all!!
  4. Rubber dust boot is a water tight rubber piece that fits over the back of the headlight around the back of the bulb to keep the headlight water tight.
  5. Ceramic pigtail harness.  This harness is used with brighter usually hotter H4 bulbs, such as Xenon and HID. It is used to protect you legacy harness from melting from hotter bulbs. You place this pigtail harness between your harness and the back of the headlight onto the H4 bulb.   Notice the white ceramic tip, this tip can reach heat temperatures of 5000 degrees.

Safety 1st!

  • 50 % more light versus the Original Equipment Manufactures.  YOU CAN NOW SEE THE ROAD.
  • Led Halo acts like a Daylight Running Light so people see you before they pull out in front of you!

One added benefit of purchasing our headlights over the sealed beams offered by many American manufactures such as Phillips, Wagner and Sylvania is that our headlight projects a much brighter and clearer light with more side light and contrast. It is without a doubt a 50% brighter headlight than the Original Equipment Manufactured headlight because we eliminate the parabolic lens and replace it with a crystal glass lens.  Our headlight is designed with a parabolic reflective base that reflects the light into all directions through a clear glass/lens, whereas the original sealed beams reflect the light through a parabolic glass/lens thus reducing the clarity of the light.  So if you’re like me getting older and slowly loosing your eyesight, a clear driving light with more side light and contrast is important to you and your family’s safety and to the preservation of your precious vehicle or bike.  Many of our customers like turning on the LED ring by itself during the day to use as a daylight running light.  Turning on the LED ring by itself during the daylight hours also makes your vehicle more visible by other drivers thus reducing the chance of having an accident.  In Europe it’s a law that all vehicles drive with a daylight running lights.  In my opinion our headlights are worth the cost for these safety reasons alone.

Fitment

Our headlights fit all vehicles (Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, Semi-Trucks, Tractor-Trailer, Buses, Trolly’s and Motor Homes) from 1930’s to 1979 no matter the make or model. It may fit earlier models that uses a standard 5 3/4 inch round headlight such as H5001 or H5006 sealed beam headlights. Our headlights also fit many Motorcycles, Cars and Trucks after 1979.

Our 5 3/4 Elite headlight is a direct replacement for the 5 3/4 “T3″ OEM headlight.   We have not found as of yet any vehicle where our headlight has not directly fit.  No headlight bucket will need to be modified for fitment.

Photos

Although many a professional photographer have taken pictures of our headlights, but they cannot seem to capture the sharp and brilliant color of our halo headlights.  Simply put you will not experience their real beauty until you see them for yourself up close.  Once you purchase yours you will see then what we ‘re talking about.

2.  Remove any headlight bezels and retaining rings.
3.  Pull the headlight away from the car and disconnect the wire harness plug to completely remove the headlight.
4.  Place your new LED headlight near the light bucket and plug the back of the headlight into the original wire harness plug. The connector plugs in only way, so you can’t go wrong.
5.  Route black and red LED wiring to parking lights.
6.  Replace headlight into light bucket. Reinstall headlight bezels and retaining rings but don’t over tighten screws. OVER TIGHTNING HEADLIGHT BEZELS OR RETAINING RINGS MAY CAUSE HEADLIGHT GLASS TO CRACK under some driving conditions. RedLine Lumtronix LLC is not responsible for any cracked glass after installment.
7.  Connect the black wire (ground/negative) to chassis using a hoop connector or splice it to (ground/negative) on parking lights/turn signal. 8.  On your parking lights/turn signal there are three wires; one for ground/negative (usually black in color), one for turn signal, and one for parking lights (color of wires differ from different manufactures). Refer to your original equipment manufactures manual or a professional automobile wiring specialist to determine which wire to connect the red wire (positive) from your new LED Headlight and splice it to the parking light.

Customer preferred installation;

Many of our customers want to install their halo directly to their ignition.  That way they can have the halo on all the time day or night and that way other motorist can see them before they pull out in front of them.

Or

Some vehicles when the headlights are turned on the parking lights go off.  Many of our customers do not like this, they want the halo on all of the time.  To solve this problem hook up the positive to the positive on taillights that is not the turning signal.

Or

Some customers like placing the halo directly to a switch of some kind so they can turn on the halo during a car show or cruse-in.
